Alternative Energy for Residential Homes

Realtors will have the opportunity to learn about alternative energy for residential properties. The basics of how a solar, wind and thermal energy systems function, maintenance, red flags of alternative energy. The course will give Realtors knowledge of what is needed for closing a real estate transaction for residential properties with a solar system, i.e., TREC forms and lender requirements for various loan types. Knowledge is power in the real estate transaction and will potentially save the buyer and/or seller money and frustration in the real estate transaction. The more a Realtor knows about alternative energy will allow them to point out the benefits and/or potential red flags to a buyer and/or seller.
