Drought and Flood Impacts on Residential Homes

Realtors will have the opportunity to learn about the impacts from drought and floods that potentially affect residential property values. This class will discuss the basics of how a watershed functions, why it is important to home values, red flags of homes suffering the consequences to droughts and/or flooding. The course will give the Realtors a perspective of a watershed's importance, especially when homes are affected by drought and floods. The lender potentially will ask for additional requirements for various loan types to complete the real estate transaction. Knowledge is power in the real estate transaction limiting frustrations by the Realtor, buyer, and/or seller and potentially find benefits and/or red flags to educate their buyer and/or seller.
